We create joyful Experiences you will remember…
The early days…
CycleHosts officially commenced in 2017 when we ran the first event in Healesville, Victoria Australia. Rob was the Host for that ride.
I (Ben, founder) had been contemplating the plan for CycleHosts during 2016-17 and considering the types of experiences we wanted to create.
One particular day I was riding at Healesville with my Nephew, Nick and we were resting out the front of Graceburn Wine Room, contemplating if we should keep riding to Warburton or turn back towards Melbourne.
At this time, Rob came out with water and offered for us to lean our bikes against the shopfront window of Graceburn.
Rob is a Host, I remember thinking…
Graceburn primarily sold delicious wines from Mac Forbe wines. We weren’t Rob’s typical customer and we didn’t have intentions of buying wine that day, but he was genuinely interested in making us feel comfortable.
As we struck up a conversation, it turned out Rob also rode bikes….
After a brief conversation, CycleHosts was in the thick of creating the first experience.
It was an ideal way to start things….the location, route, weather, Host(!), beautiful guests….it all went well.
Another thing about that event was the food. Each guest was given a chocolate slice. The slice was made by a young man with Autism. They tasted amazing!
On those slices was a sticker….’made with love.’
They were made with love. You could sense it through taste and how it was presented.
Years later, that’s how we aim to create events….with love.
‘I am so glad to have you as my first cycling trip. You are such an awesome team, everything is well organised and planned.
We were there purely to enjoy the rides and whatever sceneries came along. I have nothing to dislike. The only problem is you set the benchmark for all my future cycling tours’

‘Thank you everyone for a great experience. Team support has been well above expectation. Food provision has been plentiful, riding routes have been exceptional, organisation and administration superb.
I’ve had a fabulous, fun weekend.’
